Should I go to College for Training?
College is always recommended, but training for your private license before you go off to college is a massive bonus when applying to desired schools. Often worth doing before you start advanced training at colleges.
How Much Is Flight Training?
Flight Training is not a one-price-fits-all. Flying costs varies per individual. The FAA minimum hours to get your PPL is 40 hours. The average student graduates with 60-75 hours total. That means you can be as low as $10,000 or on the higher side of $18,000 for private pilot training. Private Pilot Training FAA minimums is 40 hours. Most students graduate at a minimum of 60-75 hours. How quickly a student finishes is up to them. Some finish in 1-3 months. Others take longer if they spread out their traning. We suggest 3-4 flights a week to finish within 3 months

Perfect health is a rumor. You do need to see a pilot medical examiner and obtain a third class medical they can help with. You also do not need perfect vision. Corrective vision is allowed in aviation.
